A Witches Brew Of Religious Discrimination
Chicago Tribune editorial staff member Steve Chapman cuts right to the

chase in today's editorial by pointing out that the US Government has

"no trouble finding a place" for Wiccans and Pagans in the military.

Chapman reports that while "Uncle Sam" welcomes Wiccan and Pagan

soldiers to serve in the United States Military, and does not

discriminate against their right to die for their country -- however,

the US government seems to have second thoughts after they die in

action, when they are denied the right to display their emblem of

belief on their headstones and markers.

This editorial expresses concerns about the proposed VA regulations in

addition to the need for the VA to uphold the Constitution and add the

Pentacle to its list.

In addition, the AP article, "Lawsuit by Wiccans Allowed to Proceed,"

was published today in the Chicago area newspaper, Joliet Herald News

in Illinois.
