"Offering gifts in charity, accepting charitable gifts, revealing one's mind in confidence, inquiring confidentially, accepting prasada and offering prasada are the six symptoms of love shared by one devotee and another." Commentary Throughout the course of the unfoldment of the bhakti-lata-bija or seed of devotion, the six symptoms of Love increases between the recipient of devotional service and the Giver of the bhakti-lata-bija. Exchanging gifts that are of the Heart for the nectarian pastimes of the Supreme Devotee, what is of the Spirit appears to be material until the devotee becomes receptive enough to the various calls of Love. Revealing confidential moments of Bliss with other like-minded souls, the confusion that often manifests while engaged in devotional service is swept away by the force of the purity of Transcendentally Good Association. Inquiring into the nature of Brahman as the Personal Lord of the Heart, the devotee swoons with the jubilance of a million moons and jumps for joy while in an explosively devotional trance. Losing control over the magnanimous and merciful qualities of the soul, the Supreme Devotee exchanges places with the pureness that is the devotee in devotional service. Wanting to relish and enjoy the confidential gifts of the Spirit, accepting the prasada or blessings of tear-filled Love becomes as memorable the hundredth time as the first time that such wonderful and devotionally soothing symptoms arose and fell within the Heart of the devotee. Never getting tired of devotional service to Lord Hari, the devotee dances through life as if nothing else existed. Not caring for anything besides the internal movements of the Beloved, the devotee melts under the pressure of the Infinite Loving Heart of Krishna and Radha Conjoined as One.
