Shane and Kristy moved to Canada in April of 2007. Shane first worked as an assistant pastor in an already established baptist church, Victory Baptist Church in Sherwood Park, about 3 1/2 hours away from Hinton. While there, they began the early stages of establishing a church in Hinton. They drove back and forth each week holding Bible studies. This past September they held the opening services of Hinton Baptist Church. Yesterday, Sunday, December 7th, they held their first Sunday School classes.
In the midst of helping and supporting her husband get this new church up and running, Kristy has four very young children that she is also caring for. She is a new homeschooling mom as well. She has a great spirit and loves being a wife, mom, and missionary. She is a great friend, encouragement, and blessing to me personally.
